Georgia Aroni
Georgia Aroni has a background in dance and somatic practices, has a Bachelor degree in Greek civilization from the Open University in Greece, and has completed postgraduate studies in dance / movement therapy. In addition, she studied pedagogy and received training in authentic movement and therapeutic practice. Georgia runs workshops and seminars in Authentic Movement and DMT (Dance / Movement Therapy) in various health, cultural and educational settings in Europe, for people who wish to explore their body-soul consciousness. She continues to develop embodied intervention programs and training initiatives in collaboration with private institutes and organizations in Europe. She has worked with adults, adolescents and children, in addiction therapy centers and in private clinics. Georgia has been an active member of the Oktana Dance Theater in Greece which along with other dance companies has defined the contemporary dance scene in Greece in the 90's.
