About

ABOUT

We are LUCODA a dance collective established within Luxembourg, reuniting active dance artists, choreographers and dance teachers living and working in Luxembourg.

We are here to represent our art form and offer as much expertise and inspiration as possible to the Luxembourgish community.

Our goal is to embrace and harness the diverse talents LUCODA has to offer, nurturing and maintaining them for the future of dance in Luxembourg.

MEMBERS

LUCODA is currently represented by fifteen active members; Rhiannon Morgan, Giovanni Zazzera, Ioanna (Jovi) Anousaki, Gianfranco Celestino, Carine Baccega, Baptiste Hilbert, Aifric Ní Chaoimh, Ileana Orofino, Serge Daniel Kabore, Sergio Mel, Sissy Mondloch, Sandra Beck, Norah Noush, Noa Nies and Melina Bountzika

MISSION

Our mission is to re imagine and re define dance. We devise and create new frameworks for dance to be shared, experienced and be accessible to all.

In this manner, we strive to bring dance outside of its traditional context and propose innovative projects that revolve around integration, diversity, innovation and inclusion.

Dance and movement offer a universal language that goes beyond gender, age, ethnicity, economic, political or cultural backgrounds. Lucoda strives to continually search for new collaborations to emerge and continue exploring the possibilities of the power of non verbal connections through dance.
